Silver Lining part 2 - Digital Nomads
It's not where you work, it's where you are working! Yet another silver lining story.
7:30 am every weekday morning I login and join my team on a video call. The new normal. I use to hate these earlier than normal work days but there's something amazing about how this new normal has created an aspect of freedoms I full well am taking advantage of as a Digital Nomad.
Work mate know I'm in the meeting when they hear birds. "Where you working from today?" I'm often asked.
"Iowa today, Colorado Tomorrow" is my answer, but it varies from week to week.
"Lucky!" Someone chimes in.
"Hey, we rent her out. This too could be you next month." I remind them.
You don't even have to go far. For us here In MN, many people have cabins, but so much for being tied to the same location year after year.
With an RV, I may just go to a lake, have breakfast, get a few meetings out of the way, then find a place to set up my computer and continue working for a while. Push off to somewhere I can park for free or an inexpensive site with electricity, and do this all the way to wherever, soaking up the warmth of the sun and the sounds of silence.
